A father of three, with the support of his wife Nancy, David Faulkner represents the people of Alabama's District 46 in the State Legislature. District 46 is comprised of portions of Mountain Brook, Homewood, and Hoover.

David's foremost priorities in his representative duties are improvements in the state's educational system and economic development for the state of Alabama. David regularly meets with his District's PTOs at all educational levels, and maintains an ongoing dialog with the local superintendents to stay up to speed on the challenges our educational systems face and the opportunities available to assist them on their mission.
